Marco Island's shopping is spread across a few key spots and a handful of independent stores. Marco Walk Plaza and the Esplanade Shoppes are the main hubs, with boutiques, resort wear, and specialty retailers. Across the island, smaller locally owned shops carry handmade jewelry, coastal home goods, art, and gifts made by local artisans. It's not a big retail destination, and that's part of the appeal.
